THE ASK

An immersive launch celebration for The Casio Vintage collection that brought the philosophy of Future Classics to life by transforming each collection universe into a distinct experiential space rooted in nostalgia, play, and retro-inspired storytelling.

THE CHALLENGE

To create a cohesive experiential world that spotlit three distinct Casio Vintage collections-Retro Classic, Retro Modern, and Retro Future-each with its own unique identity, visual language, and engagement style, while ensuring the larger experience still felt unmistakably Casio. The challenge also lay in building a Y2K-coded universe for today’s Gen Z audience, reimagining Casio Vintage’s nostalgia-driven identity in a way that felt relevant, immersive, and exciting.

THE IDEA

VintageVerse was conceptualised as a transportive retro universe where guests stepped into different manifestations of nostalgia, each inspired by a distinct Casio Vintage collection.

 

Guests entered VintageVerse through a teleportation-inspired entry experience, receiving collectible passports stamped across immersive collection zones. Interactive engagements-from a branded claw machine and futuristic glam station to a vintage newspaper-style photo moment and personalized watch recommendations, brought each world to life.

 

The experience was further layered with a showcase of Casio’s iconic collaborations, themed cocktails and retro-inspired hospitality, culminating in a live vinyl spin that brought together music, culture, and community.
